Did you know about the woman who was pregnant for 12 months?

Bleulah Hunter was pregnant for 12 months something that shocked even the doctors and she gave birth to a healthy baby who she named Penny Diana.

A normal pregnancy lasts nine months. Beulah Hunter's wonder of becoming pregnant for 12 months was added to the list of human accomplishments. This 25-year-old American woman had the longest pregnancy ever of one year and ten days! This  happened in 1945.

The woman said that her menstruation stopped on February 10 and she realized she was pregnant on March 24. Beulah gave birth to a healthy baby girl named Penny Diana. According to doctors, the pregnancy was normal in the first three months, and then she began to experience new normal sensations during pregnancy in the sixth month. She felt the baby move.

In September 1944 the child's first heart rate was detected. When the baby was born on February 21st 1945, she weighed 3.14kkg which was low for a baby who needed more than a year to be born. Doctor Daniel Beltz and the mother faced criticism from doctors who questioned the validity of the case. People thought that she had lost the pregnancy and got pregnant again without knowing, but the doctor provided proof of the pregnancy and the normal delivery

Penny grew up as a healthy child with no problems. Even to date doctors are trying to figure out what made this pregnancy last longer than usual.
